California State Park Peace Officers (Rangers) provide law enforcement and emergency services in State Parks and in their surrounding communities.  The Capital District State Park Peace Officers provide public safety services to the following parks and park property in the Sacramento area:

• California State Railroad Museum
• Old Sacramento State Historic Park
• Leland Stanford Mansion State Historic Park
• Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park
• State Indian Museum
• California Indian Heritage Center State Park
• Governor’s Mansion State Historic Park
• State Park Warehouses and other State Property

Capital District State Parks receive over 1.4 million visitors a year.
